Skills and Agent Workflows Are Research Helpers — Not Brokers

Audience: developers and investors comparing AI-workspace research Skills / Agent workflows
Grounded on: alphagbm.com/en/skills · pricing · github.com/AlphaGBM/skills
Publisher: Greeks Lab (greeks-lab) — educational notes about public AlphaGBM product language
Status: Publish-ready · 2026-10-26 (Asia/Shanghai)

Short answer

AlphaGBM Skills bring market research workflows into your AI workspace (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Muse, Workbuddy, and similar). Public Skills copy: they are free to install and share your website account quota. Data and deep analysis follow endpoint access, account allowance, and subscription entitlements.

They help you gather dated evidence, compare candidates, and review risk language. They are not a broker, not an order router, and not a signal service that tells you what to buy or sell. Installing a Skill does not unlock paid data by itself. Public pricing language states that Alpha Agent requires a paid subscription—see live Pricing.

Research workflows named on the public Skills page

From alphagbm.com/en/skills (fetched 2026-10-26, Asia/Shanghai):

Workflow Public framing
Stock Opportunities Connect fundamentals, sentiment and risk to supporting and opposing evidence
Options Strategies Compare option candidates and score components, with funding, expiry and assignment risks
News Impact Separate reported claims from impact inferences, with related assets and next checkpoints
Research Report Breakdown Extract report views, ratings, key assumptions and risks with sources and dates
Investment Review Compare research records you provide locally—no account-history access or automatic monitoring

Focused tools (examples on-page): Stock Analysis, Dividend Strategy, Research Reports. Reference packages explain methods; they do not grant access to unpublished data APIs. Investment-method prompts (Buffett / Druckenmiller / Lynch / Dalio style) are framed as based on public investing principles, not investor endorsements or return guarantees.

Access note from the Skills page: four server workflows are release previews; unavailable APIs are not replaced with simulated results. Preserve returned dates and data definitions.

What Skills / Agent helpers are for vs not

Use Meaning
Research Fundamentals, sentiment, risk notes, options strategy screens, news impact framing
Evidence hygiene Keep source dates, missing-data flags, and score definitions
Local review Investment Review compares files you supply locally
Claim to avoid Why
Broker / auto-trade / managed money No order placement on these surfaces
“Agent free / unlimited quota from install” Installation is free; research credits follow the account plan
Return guarantees Public site: research only; past performance ≠ future results
DEX / on-chain trading front-end Any separate DEX product is out of scope and must not be attributed to AlphaGBM Skills
Score = win rate Opportunity scores sort inside a screen; they are not win probabilities

Practical rules when agents run Skills

  1. Ask before consuming shared research allowance when a runner uses --confirm-usage.
  2. Return successful API responses with original identity, dates, units, and missing-data flags—never silently substitute demo data.
  3. Surface nonzero exits as errors.
  4. Do not invent fills, net P&L, or “guaranteed” opportunity lists.
  5. Do not rewrite scores as probabilities or win rates.

Next step (conversion path)

  1. Read the live catalog: alphagbm.com/en/skills.
  2. Register free so Skills share a real account allowance.
  3. When you need more research capacity or Agent access, compare plans only on Pricing.
  4. Optional: clone / install from AlphaGBM/skills and follow that repo’s ACCESS / INSTALLATION docs.

Risk note

Options involve leverage. Buyers can lose the full premium. Sellers can face losses larger than the premium received. Equity investing involves risk of loss. Content is for information and research only—not investment advice. Past performance does not indicate future results.
